Elab

Elab is an electronic lab data transfer project that is in its fourth year of operation. The purpose of Elab is to provide Networks with the information necessary to fulfill their contractual QI responsibilities with CMS using a data collection method that relieves burden on the part of dialysis facility staff.

Elab also reduces hand transcription and entry of lab data, which minimizes errors and allows for facility-specific profiles including 100% of patients that can be generated relatively quickly with comparative state and Network data.
